How Botox Injections Work
A very small amount is injected into a specific muscle which creates the wrinkle. This blocks the nerve impulses from reaching the area, allowing the muscles to relax. As the muscle relaxes, the wrinkle is soften and smoothed out. Untreated facial muscles contract normally, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.

The Experience

Possible Side Effects
Temporary bruising is possible and can be minimized by avoiding Advil /aspirin products and Vitamin E for 7-days prior to treatment. About 1-2% of patients may experience a slight lowering of the eyelid. Mild short-term headaches can occur. There have been no permanent side effects from the use of Botox Cosmetic ®. Injections should be avoided if pregnant or lactating.
The Success
